I thought I would create a recommendation thread. I know for me personally being broke and growing up in the age of Itunes, all I listen to is Queen, some musicals and one song from some bands. I will find a song, listen to the crap out of it and never listen to that band otherwise. I only listen to "Hoist that Rag" by Tom Waits. Over and over again. :lol: I need some variety, SO! ;) So someone posts a song they like, and other people respond with songs that are similar to it.

So I'll start. I really like "Box Of Rain" by the Grateful Dead. What other songs do you recommend by them or other artists that are similar to this song?

Since you mentioned the Dead lets stick to SF shall we. Check out the first LP from a band called Moby Grape its really good, or the Beau Brummels which were an mid 60's SF band who were really good.


How is that for starters??
