hey everyone there are 2 shows i have been loking for onw was about a root and a boy it wasnt a cartoon and one about these circus animals they wee big humanlike puppets and after every show they ould pack up and leave these shows were on disney in the late 80's early 90's

The second one is Dumbo's Circus. One of my favorites back then. It's funny you mentioned it because I just was thinking about that show the other day!
