First of all I am from the North(Montana). For a long time you could never find Sweet Tea up hear, because it was more of Southern thing. then in the last year all of these fast food restrunts like McDonald, Wendy's, Taco John's, Arby's, KFC and Burger King started selling Sweet Tea, Then most of the sit in Restaurants like Famous Dave's and Applebee's started selling it. Sweet tea is starting to appear more and more up hear in the North. The first time I tried was a few months ago and I love it, It starting to become a thing for me.
Dose any other Northern state sell Sweet Tea beside Montana? and do you Like Or Hate Sweet Tea?

I don't drink any hot tea, but whenever I drink iced tea it has to be sweetened. Regular tea is too bitter. I don't know if there's a difference between sweet tea or tea that has sugar in it? lol that might sound stupid, but I don't know, it could be something different. I wouldn't know, I'm not southern. I didn't think it was all too uncommon up here.

You don't mean Un-sweet tea, do you? My mom's got a fascination for Un-sweet tea right now, and she'll make sure you know it.

I LOVE Sweet Tea, and I was always happy when I went to a restaurant that served it(not all of them did early on). Now it seems everybody has it and I'm glad the fast food places have started serving it, too. Sometimes that's all I order!!

I can take tea either hot or cold. Sweet or unsweetened.

No. As a matter of fact, I don't like tea period. I tried to like it but I can't bring myself to do it.

I like Sun Tea better. Sweet tea tends to be too sugary and unsweet tea is just plain nasty
McDonald's sweet tea is way too sugary

I love sweet tea. It's the only way to drink it.

I normally drink unsweet tea so I can control how much sugar goes into my glass, but I drink tea almost everyday!

I like it as long as it isn't too sugary.

I love Arizona's Sweet Tea, as well as Mcdonald's sweet tea (but only if there's loads of ice. It cuts down on the super, super sugary taste).

I really have no opinion of it either way. Can't even remember the last time I drank sweet tea.

I should probably make myself some tea today. I feel lousy. :(
^ Hope you get better soon Monika!
I drink ice cold sweet tea just about every day. I never cared much for hot tea though.

Thank you, Ann. I'm just the opposite. I enjoy a hot tea every once in awhile but can't stand iced tea. But hey, to each his own.

To make real sweet tea you have to mix the sugar in while the tea is still hot and than let it cool, that way the sugar blends in all the way. If you add sugar to cold tea it will never blend in all the way regardless of how much you stir it.
Needless to say. I love sweet tea! :drink:

I used to drink sweet tea all the time. Then I switched to unsweet tea. I think I did it for dietary reasons, but I found I enjoyed the subtleties of flavor. People used to ask me if I wanted sweetener, then give me funny looks when I said "no."

I like my ice tea unsweetened or with sugar substitute that I add myself, but I'll drink sweet tea on occasion.
