My grandmother and I went to the Dollar Store this past Saturday beause she needed to buy a gift bag and paper for one of her friends birthday. And, what did we see out already but Halloween stuff! It blew my mind. It's not even September (as I type this anyway)! They had a few costumes out, some candy and decorations. Anybody else come across this?

dollar tree had pumpkins out in july. its actually overstock. when i worked at walgreens we started getting our holiday/christmas shipments in may and june. all those boxes start taking up room in the back and they try to move them out as early as possible. i went to walgreens just the other day and i saw christmas items on the very top shelvess because the stockroom is just overflowing

What's wrong with that? I love Halloween!!:D
I just saw the other day Wal-mart has Halloween greeting cards out(and I'm sure the Hallmark stores do, too). Also, Wal-mart has had their autumn stuff out for about a month now. It's like once July 4th is done, let's start getting all the Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas things out!!

Nothing's wrong with it. I like Halloween as well. I was just surprised.

We haven't gotten any Halloween stuff in at work - at least, not that I've seen. We probably did, but I'm in the backroom and seasonal isn't one of the areas I work on in the back, so.
The others are correct - it has to do with how full the backroom is. We actually burnt through Back To School/College extremely quickly in the backroom - only about a month or so, and it was taking up a TON of room in the back.

Gotcha. I didn't mean anything by it.
The next few up-coming months are my favorite time of year. Whenever I start seeing Halloween & autumn things in the store, even it's as early as July & August, I get all giddy!!

It's hard to believe that the year is almost over already.

We went to Wal-Mart last night and all they had out was plastic and glass pumpkins. No costumes. If they had had any real pumpkins, candy or even costumes, I didn't see them.
