By syndicated only, I mean shows that never appeared in prime time. Examples include Saved by the Bell, Small Wonder, Charles in Charge etc.

Definitely Small Wonder. Charles in Charge and Saved by the Bell were good, too. I also liked the Ted Knight Show(It was Too Close for Comfort before it went into syndication)--the setting was changed and some characters were added and dropped when this happened. I'll write back if I can think of any more.

Actually, Charles in Charge did appear in primetime. It aired for one year, 1984-1985 on CBS.

MAMA'S FAMILY.YES, IT WAS A NETWORK SHOW AT FIRST THEN WENT INTO SYNDICATION FOR MANY YEARS AFTER.
Actually, Saved By the Bell was technically, a network show since it aired on NBC and not simply being in first run syndication on varoius affilates. Since it has hung around on places like TBS and WGN practically forever, it sort of inadvertently makes you believe that the show was built in for a major syndication run. The main sigifincance with Saved By the Bell is that it aired on Saturday mornings and not in prime-time (unless you want to count the original airing of the final episode).
