They should air this show on TV Land. A good idea would be to air this and the original Leave it to Beaver back-to-back.

Rick:

That would be so cool! I want to see the show, but I think I would miss Hugh Beaumont. It still would be cool to see it because I've never seen the new beaver show before.

So was ward dead in the new Beaver show? Was it the same June. When did this come on and for how long was it on?

It is the same June, but Ward is dead.

I love the idea of this being on TV Land too. Maybe with TV Land's new weekend schedule coming in mid-October, they may add it. Ahh, wishful thinking. The original is my all-time favorite show, and seeing this show with most of the characters all together again in a reunion would be an added treat. This new version aired on Disney under the name "Still the Beaver" its first season, but later moved to TBS under the name "The New Leave It To Beaver" for its second through fourth season. It was then cancelled. It ran for four seasons from 1985 to 1989.

I loved the "New Leave It To Beaver" as well as the old. Back in 1989, I went to a local softball game between the cast of the NLITB and the deejays from my favorite radio station. It was so cool! The cast was signing autographs and posing for pictures. I got my picture taken with Tony Dow and Ken Osmond as well as Kaleena Kiff, whom I also used to watch in "Love, Sidney" back in 1980 or 1981. I forget which.

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

I enjoyed the new LITB but it wasnt the same without Hugh Beaumont, thats the problem with most reunion shows there is always someone who is not there and it kind of ruins it , but overall I thought it was a good show.

I never got to see it! It came on when I was just a little kid and had never even heard of leave it to beaver. I dont even care if they put it in their schedule, I just wish someone would air it as like a one time thing so I could see some of the eps.

I've never seen it, but I would like to. I've always been a fan of "Leave it to Beaver".
