As new goods appear on store shelves, some older ones disappear to make room. Many times, consumers hardly notice. But these particular products have had loyal (if not numerous) customers who miss them.

The original Mr. Pibb.
The Mr. Pibb Xtra is nasty. They should bring back the real Mr. Pibb and do away with the so-called Mr. Pibb Xtra.
Cherry apple sauce. IT was really good. I guess it wasn't popular enough so they stopped making it.
I remember that crystal clear pepsi! It was the only type we were allowed to drink in French class!

remember "PEPSI KOLA"? I think that's what it was called, it was Pepsi and coffee mixed together. It came out back about 1993 or so.
I remember when it came out, Rosie O'Donnels talk show was just starting, and she mentioned it once in her monolouge. I remember, she made a face and said "Now who the HELL ever came up with the idea to mix those two drinks together"?

Stuff I miss:
I remember Hershey's BarNone, but I don't think I ever bought it when it was on the market over twenty years ago, maybe once, but that picture and description made it look yummy. I'd like to try it if they ever brought it back.
Taco Bell Santa Fe Gorditas. I LOVED those things. Why'd they take those off the menu??
Back in the early 80's, they had Kellogg's Dutch Apple Pop-Tarts. Yummy with vanilla ice cream, like apple pie. :liplick:
Now they're talking about taking VCRs off the market, if they haven't done so already. I need to hook mine up still after all these past several months, and can't find the right cords.
Bring back vinyl records!

Vinyl records have not gone anywhere. They still make records and quite a bit of new stuff comes out on vinyl, and in fact the sale of records is steadly going up. If you live in a city with an inedpendent record store, go there immedietly. They can help you get your hands on some records. Also a lot of stuff is getting reissued on records.
They tried to kill it, but vinyl still lives and it still kicks ass.

I don't think they're gone completely, but I have a hard time finding full-sized Mr. GoodBar candy bars. I love those things. Also, Hershey had this candy called Hershey Chunk for awhile that was really good. Reese's also came out with dark chocolate peanut butter cups at one time, but I can't find those anymore either.

That's as close as McDonalds has ever gotten to Restaurant-style burger...and even the grown-ups were turned-off from the grown-up taste!

I still have a film camera that cost me $500, but it's getting harder to find 800 speed film for it. :(

I miss Diet Apple Slice (from the 80s) which I just loved.
I used to drink Slice all the time but I don't remember the Diet Apple flavor. That sounds good!!!
I don't remember hearing about Crystal Pepsi either. How weird!!!
Another product I miss was this small can of foam that you could buy that you spray in the microwave to clean it. I wish they would bring that stuff back. It's kind of like EZ Off, but it's not fumy.
There used to be these packets of soap that you put in your disposal to clean it. You put the packet all the way down in the disposal, then turned on the water, and then the disposal (just for a second). The packet would break open and this foam would come out of the top and for about five minutes, it would clean your disposal. Pretty cool product. It would just dissolve in the disposal so there wasn't any clean up!!

As I recall, Product 19 was by Kellogg's. I really liked that cereal when I was a kid. Nice and crunchy.

I knew it was by one of those companies, LOL. I also liked the crunch it didn't get soggy right away. There was another cereal I liked too but, I don't remember the name it was flakes with a maple flavor that was good.
