Miley Cyrus will replace Mariah Carey to perform an outdoor concert on the Plaza at 30 Rock on Aug. 28 as part of the “Today” show’s concert series, reports the New York Post.
The Post says the release date of Carey's new album had to to with her "Today" cancellation.
"Mariah is putting the finishing touches on her newest album, 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,' and we have shifted all of our TV and promo appearances to coincide with the new release date of Sept. 29," the Post quoted Carey’s Web site as saying.
