Casper, which is 12 years old, boards the No3 service at 10.55am from outside his home in Plymouth, Devon, and travels the entire 11-mile route before returning home about an hour later.

If he's that smart he probably has a bus pass which would be much cheaper than paying the daily fare!

That cat must have been better behaved and more respectful than some humans I've seen riding public transportation

And he's so pretty... and a male calico, that's very rare. He actually looks a lot like my cat, Dinah. I would love to ride that bus to work. Cats make everything so much better :)

As Monika said "Tell me about it" Good Lord, I have been riding the bus into Seattle for the past 7 1/2 years and I have encountered some horribly obnoxious people!! Those certain trips made me wish I was sitting in my car stuck in traffic! At least then I could listen to CD's or the radio instead of their constant yelling, cackling (I mean laughing), and carrying on!!!
Actually I have encountered a cat on a bus once!! I totally forgot about that till just now! My husband and I were on a crowded bus one Saturday coming home from work in Seattle. I kept hearing this crying, like someone meowing and I could not figure out what it was. I turned around and could see through the crack in the seats, a guy with a cat carrier. I could see the poor kitty. I know he hated being cramped in that cage with all those people on board, but the guy looked "decent" meaning I think he was just transporting the cat and not someone who is abusive toward them. Fortunately after my husband and I got off, there was only one more stop which was the end of the run, so I'm sure kitty was glad about that. Wonder what he was doing in Seattle?
