Chris Brown and Rihanna: NYC Near Miss #2!

Either Chris Brown and Rihanna have been sneaking around and trying to keep things on the down low, or New York City is a much smaller place than we thought.

A day after staying at the same hotel, supposedly without knowledge of the other's presence, Rihanna went out to dinner at Cipriani in the Big Apple on Tuesday.

Lingering on the street by Cipriani's in his SUV, looking nervous and talking to someone on his phone? You guessed it. Chris Brown. Homeboy was lurking outside.

Having pleaded guilty to felony assault after pummeling her face to a pulp, Chris Brown's probation stipulates that he not get within 50 yards of his ex.

That's 150 feet, for those scoring at home.

This clearly violates that clause, but were they even aware of it? Did they meet up on purpose? For now, at least, these mysteries remain unanswered.

Not unlike the question of what the hell Rihanna was wearing.

this is dissapointing. i don't understand why she feels the need to go back to him after what he did to her. but she is stupid to take him back. never mind chris learning his lesson, but hasn't she learned anything after the beating she took from him? probably not. she cannot see through his mean streak at all.

as for chris brown, he should be in jail but the justice system let him off the hook. disgusting. he just makes me sick  .

i don't think the article calls for conclusions to be drawn. seems to me chris could just be following her.

If she took him back she's an idiot.

abuse victims who go back to their partners aren't idiots. their judgment is blurred from the abuse. there's a lot of science behind it that mainstream society doesn't understand.

I just hope they won't become the new Whitney/Bobby.

This is absolutely sickening. I certainly don't condone what Chris did. Hell I'd make a man out of him if I ever saw him. But, I blame Rihanna just as much. What a horrible role model for teenage girls.

This is a truism I'll never understand especially in a situation like Rhianna's. She's young, she's talented, she's wealthy, she's beautiful, she doesn't have children - let that fool go!

She should get a gun just in case he tries to slug her again. Better safe than sorry.
