View Full Version : Another Former "Idol" Contestant Found Dead

Alexis Cohen, a former "American Idol" contestant was found dead early this morning in Allentown, PA.

The 25-year-old, known as "Glitter Girl" auditioned for "Idol" in January 2008 and returned for a second time in 2009 but never received a golden ticket.

Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutors Office tells TMZ Cohen's body was found in the street by two pedestrians who then contacted local police. As of now, there is no apparent cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled for this afternoon. Cohen's death was first reported by APP.com.

If the way she behaved on the show is any inclination of the way she acted in general, then her death is no great loss. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but that's how I see it. I do feel sympathy for her family.

When I saw this thread title, I actually thought it was Tatiana who was found dead. I wouldn't be surprised.

Wow, I don't even like American Idol and this is disturbing news. So apparently there was another "Idol" death as well? Wow... very scary!!

I read about this last night on TMZ. Alexis was very weird in both her auditions. I read last year on another site that people who went to high school with her thought she had some kind of mental problem. It is sad that she died at such a young age. RIP Alexis.

That is quite harsh. I mean, yeah, there are many horribly annoying people on reality shows, but we really have no clue what they are really like in life to be able to determine how much of a loss it is.
