Not really. Like I said before, I'm past the hero worship thing. And today's crop of "stars" give today's kids even less to look up to in terms of being role models or examples.

And there are certain artists whose work I admire that I probably wouldn't want to meet in person for fear that a bad impression of them personally would color how I feel about their work.

But that's jus' me.;)

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think the last time I ever idolized anyone was when I was 17. At the time I was housebound, and had no friends, and so having idols or celebrities to look up to meant alot to me at that time. Once I started getting out into the real world though, and meeting people, and making friends, I noticed my idolizing just disappeared. Like I said, I admire many celebrities, but I never put them on some kind of pedestal. You can put me in the same room with Madonna, and I seriously doubt I'd get all freaked out and stuff. I'd probably just be the same as I am with anyone else.

Michael Jackson-I didn't really realize how much he influenced my life until he died. He changed the face of music and saved lives of millions of people. He donated money for charities. No matter what anyone thought of him, he was someone who will be remembered forever and that why I have new respect for him.
