I heard about this special CNN has been covering him around the clock. Also on Larry King which was interesting. I had no idea he was more or less forced to retire and thought he'd get to cover specials. Larry said he never got over that, seemed like a slap in the face to him.

Throughout the 1960s, as the cost in American lives lost in the Vietnam War increased, Americans began to wonder what we were really accomplishing there. In the wake of the Tet Offensive in early 1968, Walter Cronkite, the venerable anchor of the CBS Evening News, went to Vietnam see for himself. His now-famous report from the front changed the face of journalism, changed the direction of the war and changed history. Veteran journalist Nick Clooney gets the story behind the story in a rare interview with Walter.
