Police free man from station suitcase locker

German police had to rescue a 20-year-old man from a train station suitcase locker after he shut himself in for fun and began to suffocate.

After a night out drinking with friends, squeezing into the locker had seemed like an amusing idea to the man, police in the southwestern city of Ludwigshafen said Friday.

But the laughter faded when he started to run out of oxygen and his companions couldn't open the locker. Police broke open the door and dragged the groggy man to safety.

not only was it stupid but he could've killed himself in the process because suitcase was locked, it meant he couldn't get enough oxygen inside; alas, he was suffocating himself. i agree it was a dangerous and stupid thing to do.

I just hope he's learned his lesson but he probably will go out and do something stupid like this again. ohno:

hopefully, the conquences of his stupid actions will make him think twice before he considers pulling off something as crazy and dangerous as this.

This story shouldn't be funny, but it is. What an idiot! Since the guy was drinking, I'd be leary about thinking he wouldn't try this again. Next time he probably won't be so lucky.

I saw this on a Tshirt in Canada a couple of weeks ago and thought it was funny, however it's all in fun.



It's only funny till someone gets hurt... then it's hilarious!!!
