How can I keep people from seeing what groups I joined?

I don't think you can get rid of that, I think everyone has to see it.

Actually, you can.

Click on the Applications button down at the bottom of your window, as Groups is an application officially developed by Facebook.

Edit Applications > Groups > Edit Settings and you can set it from there. :)

I was having the same problem recently - some chick on my friends list was joining the groups I was in, so I went, okay, **** it, I don't want ANYONE seeing my groups, period. So I set it so only I can view my groups.

I think you also do same through privacy/account settings too.

Thanks :D I joined the SO group and I see a couple of you already added me as a friend :D I just signed up for Facebook yesterday.

There's no way to do that from there. Believe me, I looked. And I am the queen of making sure people can't see things on my page. :)
