iPod help

So my iPod accidently got wet last night, I didn't think it was that wet enought to do damage but when I tried to power it on the iHome, it came up as a big red X. :confused: . What in the world should I do??? Anyone have this problem ever??? Any help would be appreciated.

I have never gotten an iPod wet. But I have read about various tricks on how to fix them. Here is a link that could help you

If your warranty with Apple is still good they might repair it for you.

Ok, thank you very much!!! I realized that the menu came up on the iHome and I could see it clearly so I think it will be okay on it's own. It was just a wet spot on my desk where my bikini was drying. My brother's got to working again and this was after his ended up in the bathtub!!! Thanks again.

I got mine went once, and I thought it was a goner. Wouldn't power up for more than a day. I plugged it into a wall charger overnight, and it worked fine the next morning.

Two years later, it's still working like a champ.

I washed my old iPod Shuffle about a month ago - forgot it was in my pocket. It wouldn't turn on, so I sold it on ebay for $10, lol. I've gotten a new iPod Nano since, so in the end it was a good thing :D
