Very good film and it was about 2-3 hours. I used to have it on dvd and i should've kept it. I like the beginning of the movie when they show old footage of The Jacksons, old pictures, old album covers while the credits are rolling. I also liked the ending a lot when the Jacksons got together for their Victory tour and the guy who was Michael gave a speech about how the group got started and he talked about slavery. I also like the song they sang at the end when they said for the joy you have given us, we thank you. Angela Bassett and Lawrence Hilton Jacobs did a good job playing the parents Katherine and Joe. Billy Dee Williams also did good as Berry Gordy. I bet most of ya'll don't remember Terrence Howard as Jackie. Jason Weaver played young Michael. Jason played on Thea and Smart Guy tv shows. He's also a singer. I gotta get this movie again on dvd. I wonder why they didn't have anybody playing Janet. The girl who played Latoya, she was Danny Glover's daughter in Lethal Weapon movies and the girl who played Rebbie was Monica Calhoun who played in The Best Man movie with Terrence Howard, Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Nia Long and The Players Club movie with Ice Cube, LisaRaye, Bernie Mac, Jamie Foxx, John Amos, Terrence Howard. Monica has done several movies with Terrence Howard.

I have seen about 3 or 4 times on VH1. I really liked it. There were a lot of great people in the cast.

It was shown on a Swedish TV channel last Tuesday, right before the memorial service.

I try to ignore the inaccuracies and just focus on the over-all story.

Yah, I've seen it a few times and it's really good. The footage of them as kids sure brings back so many memories. I vividly remember when they moved to the tudor home in Encino and Tigerbeat and Sixteen magazine took pictures of them all over the grounds. I used to wish I could hang with them. I loved both Michael and Jermaine the most.

The movie made me hate Joseph even more.

Overall, a really good movie.
