Happy Birthday To Me Remake To Be 3D

* 3D
* Happy Birthday To Me
* Remakes
* Slashers

New Happy Birthday To Me Coming in 3DWell, kids, it looks like we have yet another flick to add to the remake pile and, as is occurring more and more these days, it's gonna be in *surprise* 3D!

According to a report from Bloody-Disgusting, the 1981 Canadian slasher that starred Glenn Ford and Melissa Sue Anderson is being eyed for the redux treatment.

If it's been a while since you saw the original HBTM, here's a brief synopsis: A number of teenagers from an elite prep school get into mischievous sexual situations fueled by alcohol and pot smoking. As teens start to disappear, murdered in a variety of violent ways, the film suggests a number of suspects. Is the killer the troubled girl (Anderson) who lost her overbearing, social-climbing mother in a car accident that she survived? Or is it the stern school mistress; the wacky, cool social clown; the social misfit; or none of the above? The film keeps you guessing until the final scene.

Meanwhile, I'm sure we all have the same question in mind: Is there anything that's safe from the remake machine

I kind of like horror movies in 3D. I will give this one a chance.

Hopefully with the remake we'll see a proper DVD re release of the original with the original film score intact. And hopefully they'll use the original poster art for the DVD cover.

The original is another favorite slasher of mine, saw this on the big screen during it's release.

I kind of like horror movies in 3D.

I do to. It reminds me of being back in 1983 during the 3D craze.

I agree it seems that there is a new craze for 3D movies especially since technology has advanced.

I like some horror films, but not slashers.
