I've always been a fan of Genie. She was beautiful then and beautiful now. Too bad the nitwits at GH don't appreciate her. :mad:

Genie is married to Jonathon Frakes (Commander William Riker on Star Trek TNG) and he's a lucky guy!! She looks great!!

Still as beautiful as ever! Wow, that's wonderful that she's been married for so long! I love those wedding pictures! One of my favorite "Luke and Laura moments" was back in the late 80's, I guess. I couldn't tell you what the storyline was at all, but Laura was presumed dead (for probabably the 20th time) and when Luke saw that she was alive, they ran to each other and embraced. I know the scenes were filmed outside, like on a lawn by this big mansion. I wish I could remember when exactly that was. I loved that scene! SO romantic!

Here you go, Andrea. This was from November 1983. Luke was the mayor of Port Charles back then, and he was at the mayor's mansion. The quality isn't great, but it's all I could find.

I once read that during the first year of their marriage, that Jonathan and Genie had some difficulties, but that it was smooth sailing after that.

She's been off since 2002, save for special guest appearances in 2006 and 2008.

Genie looks great for her age. Her and Jonathan are a very beautiful couple.
