I watched this last night and I was wondering about my own bucket list. What would you want to do before you met your maker?
*go to a Carrie Underwood concert
*publish a novel
*have/adopt kids
*go to Jerusalem
*buy CDs by U2 and Phish (heard good things about these bands)
I'm sure I'll think I'll think of more later

This is a great idea for a thread, Brandon. I have to think about by choices though. :)

1) Make it a point to be healthy and happy for as long as I am here on this earth
2) Be married at least once.
3) Have children
4) Be financially secure so I don't have to work all my life.

1. Have a novel published.
2. Go to Italy
3. Go to Paris
I'll have to think about some others.
Incidentally, I just watched this movie (Bucket List) last weekend and I was really disappointed in it. I didn't think it was very good at all. Way too depressing for me. I'm not very fond of Jack Nicholson anyway, so that didn't help matters much.

I want to travel around the world before I die. I've already seen 18 countries, but it's nowhere near enough. Those of you who want to visit England, Paris, Italy --- GO! Save up your money and get on a plane. There's no reason to put it off, and you'll always be happy you did. If I die tomorrow I'll be happy that I've already seen a good chunk of the world and tried to keep it a happy place.
I also want to get married, but that's really not as important to me as leading a full and rewarding life :)

Wow!! I've only been to 5 countries, 2 of them being England & France(I've been to Paris twice, still my favorite world city, and still haven't seen everything there!!). My sister & I are planning a trip to Germany for next year. We're going on the Castle Tour, I always wanted to go to Neuswanstein(sp?) Castle, and that's part of it. The good thing about alot of tour groups is that you don't have to pay for your trip all at once, they let you send in a little at a time. So by next Sept., we'll have it paid up.

Same with me, but I would really like to have a man who loves me be at my side when I pass.
For a long time, I said I didn't want kids, but I guess as I'm getting older my decision seems to be slowly changing.

 i guess i'm really observant, but i noticed that everyone who made a list on here so far included an item from the list in the previous post.
have children --> have children --> teach at a college --> publish a novel --> go to italy --> have children --> travel the world
thank you for viewing this irrelevant (and probably confusing) presentation. :tiphat:

I loved England. London was interesting, but Bath and Cornwall were spectacular. I'm going to make it back there, hopefully next year.
About Paris... I agree, it is an amazing city, but not my favorite at all. It's so confusing and I've gotten hopelessly lost so many times - but the art is phenomenal. I spent 8 hours in the Louvre and didn't see half of it. And I climbed all the steps to the top of the Eiffel Tower! Haha, I was too cheap to take the elevators ;)
I think my favorite city (so far) is Venice, with Rome a close second. The people in Italy are so friendly, the food is fantastic, and the scenery is out of a dream. What other countries have you gone to?

 Hooray for Germany! I spent a year there, and loved it. I majored in German and lived in the black forrest. Neuschwanstein (you're close!) is out of a fairy tale, although be prepared, the tours only show you the completed rooms of the castle - a lot of it was left incomplete when Ludwig died (the country was bankrupt enough by then). Germany's home to me, so I'll wish you viel Gluck und eine gute Reise!
