They're throwing a party and blasting Mexican music. I can't stand it!! I've called the police twice already. Do they really expect that I should sleep with ear plugs or go somewhere until they decide to quiet down.

Do you have any polka music you could blast right back at them? :D

Do you live in an apartment? OMG, I HATED living in apartments mainly for that very reason! I really feel for ya. I hated calling the police because they never did anything.

Sorry to hear of such annoyances. My neighbors have a new dog they leave outside often, and it's a loud barker. Even a squirrel will cause it to go crazy.
On the positive side, loud car stereos have really decreased this summer in my area. The police are using unmarked cars to nab noise ordinance violators, so once people found out, they've kept the sonic vibrations to a minimum...!

I wish I did....I need to buy a decent sound system for times like this.

I live in a duplex on a street with several other duplexes. Trouble is everyone moving into my neighborhood is Mexican and some are undocumented. The police finally arrived at 10pm and broke up the party. The nerve of some people having no consideration for other people. I just kept calling on the non emergency line, took long enough for them to arrive.

keep reporting the inconsiderate bastards, when the cops get tired of answering the calls they will cite them.

I dont see why the police wouldnt at least ask them to turn it down. My upstairs neighbor called the law on me about my music which frankly I had no idea was that loud.

It wasn't just the music which could be heard over in the next block but, they also started hollering and it got to be too much.

I live in a condo complex and it really bugs me when people blare their stupid music while driving really fast through the complex like they are cool or something. I just want to take a brick and throw it at them. It is so inconsiderate, especially at night.
Also, don't even get me started on the teenagers hanging out outside their condos at all hours yelling their conversations which doesn't actually happen too often, but just enough to be an annoyance.

If you know the number of the unit you can report them to the Condo board.
