Italians and Russians are two of the hairiest groups of people you will find and I have both in me. If I shave in the morning, I have stubble within 12 hours. I have shadow no matter what and I basically hate to shave. I will often go 4-5 days without shaving, at which point my hair is almost completely past stubble and is more or less full hairs.
To the guys here, do you feel the same way? Do any of you ladies have the same problem when it comes to legs and underarms?

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum here. I have VERY sparse leg hairs (I'm German, Polish and Romanian, which would probably explain it). My armpits take forever to grow out, which I guess is a good thing. I can't shave them the day after I've shaved, because there still is nothing to shave there and it hurts if I do.
I have heard that people from the Mediterranean area are also very hairy and have odd growth patterns that you don't normally see from other countries of origin. They're also more... free about their hair growth. You'll see ladies with unshaved armpits and legs, because it's okay where they live.
I kind of wish the hair on my scalp grew faster... I buzzed my head in November, so I looked like this (http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v368/127/6/29413753/n29413753_34856273_5770.jpg), and now in June, my hair looks like this (http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs083.snc1/4885_618248558065_29413753_35948241_3762597_n.jpg) (sorry it's so dark), and I have NOT cut it AT ALL. I'm going to be just barely able to pull it back by Christmas, I think. Bah. I'd really love to be able to pull it back right now...

My armpit hair doesn't grow back too fast but my legs do. I wax my legs most of the time with Veet that way hair doesn't grow back too fast. I do have some Italian heritage. I'm mostly Spanish and Native American.

yea, I hate shaving, but also because I can't do it every day for medical reasons. I have suffered from staph infections in the past because of too frequent shaving (i.e. every day) and also I can't use a razor more than a few times less I risk another infection. The only razor that does a good enough job for me to go a few days is the Mach 3 and they don't exactly give those away!

I hate shaving too but I have to do it every day during the week for work. Sometimes, on weekends, I let myself get lazy and may skip a day (or two)

I hate shaving and can be real lazy about it. I only shave once or twice a week. Sometimes I dont shave at all and let a beard grow. Depends on my mood.

When I was in high school (I graduated in 2003, so this was prior to that time), I read in a magazine somewhere that you need to shave in every direction possible. Not just up and down, but also left & right and diagonally in both directions, because armpit hair grows in different directions. It's not as black and white as shaving your legs. :) Hope that helps! I've been doing that for years, and it really does help.

I don't mind shaving at all. In fact I like to get rid of a beard when it has grown to the point of almost becoming "grizzly". However, I do have to be careful as to which razor I use, as I found certain ones will give me nicks if I am not careful.

I hate shaving with a passion. It takes me more than an hour, just to shave my legs; and even though, I am mostly of Western European heritage; my hair grows like a weed. I have to shave my legs, every other day. It sucks:lol:

Okay, I'll try that. :)

I hate shaving. Any day I don't have somewhere to go or something to do I don't shave.

I hate shaving. I should shave my legs more, but I don't and I don't care.

I don't really hate shaving, but I do find it annoying if you get what I mean. I'm 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Irish and I inherited the hair of my father. On me I have hair literally everywhere except on my head.
My facial hair grows very fast like yours. I shave in the morning and around the evening I have a shadow. Depending on my mood I might shave at night so I don't have to do it in the morning. I'm not a fan of electric razors and I shave manually with cream; I find it comes out better.
I pretty much have a weekend ritual where I shave my head and facial hair at the same time. The hair that still grows on my head I usually let grow into a short stubble during the week and when the weekend comes along I shave it off and it continues like so.
Also during the week depending on what I want to do I keep a goatee or a chinstrap and I touch on it during the week keeping it neat.
