DANNY DEVITO shocked breakfast TV viewers in Philadephia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday (10Jun09) by belching his way through a lewd live interview.
His inappropriate behaviour and remarks prompted the local TV reporter to ask the actor if he was intoxicated on the early morning beer he was drinking on the set of TV show It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
She reminded DeVito that the last time she chatted to him they had "a belly-off" because she was pregnant, prompting the star to state, "I was thinking about what that would look like when that kid was born... was she cute coming out?"
He then hit on the reporter, noting, "You wore that short skirt, which is really nice... Easy access."
Reminded by castmates he was live on breakfast TV and shouldn't be crude and drinking beer, DeVito belched and said, "You know it's not real beer."

The Twins star shocked morning viewers in Philadephia, Pennsylvania by belching his way through a lewd live interview on the set of his sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

In an awkward moment, DeVito hit on the local TV female reporter, noting, "You wore that short skirt, which is really nice... Easy access."

His inappropriate behaviour and remarks prompted the host to ask the actor if he was intoxicated on the early morning beer he was drinking on set. But the actor insists he was clean and sober when the cameras were rolling.

He tells Radaronline.com, "I was only trying to make a TV interview fun. In the scene the TV people were covering, my character was drinking (pretend beer). When you see the scene on the show... you will understand. It's called acting."
