I believe in Heaven. Our bodies will die, but our souls will go there.

Religion aside, I know that there's something after death. I have personally experienced things that make me certain.

Yes. I've been reading about it since the early 1980s.

I definitely believe in Heaven. The thought of an afterlife is possible, because when you think of all the people over time who have passed away, they have to be somewhere, right? I like to think that when I die (a very long time from now), all my relatives and friends long gone will be there waiting for me. I used to believe in Hell, but I don't anymore. I'm not really religious, although I've tried to be (long story), but I think everyone is forgiven in Heaven at some point. Even those who have done horrible things.

But then again, I have no idea...

I don't believe in Hell either.

There is no doubt in my mind that there is a heaven and a hell and God gives us the option to choose Him, or choose hell. It's all up to you.

definitely. i think there's a barrier of some sort between the physical world and the supernatural world and that's why we don't see hauntings occur very often. or maybe spirits don't leave the earth until they serve a purpose. my mom haunted my house and visited me in dreams for a long time, but i haven't heard from her in about two years. i think she left to another existence. the constant presences and moving furniture, etc. started immediately after she died and just stopped very suddenly. i've had dreams about her since then, but when i wake up i can always tell whether it was just images in my mind or an actual visitation with her, and the latter hasn't happened in years.

I definitely believe that people who have passed on can visit you in dreams.

I think it can depend on the kind of dream you have - if you have a crazy dream about her that makes NO sense whatsoever then it might just be a product of your mind. But if you have one about her where she's exactly like herself and makes sense, then I would say she's visited you.

I don't believe in Hell either.

Me either. My priest actually said it perfectly, she said that she didn't believe a god who is so loving would subject anyone to eternal damnation.

I believe that there is Heaven and Hell.

To me...Hell is going to be like Dante's view of Hell. Not only there will be fire and brimstone, but other types of tortures as well.

And Heaven will look like Jerusalem during the time of David and Solomon as well as the Garden of Eden.

And we'll probably be naked...or wearing white robes.

I believe in heaven. I do believe in hell but I seriously think this world is hell. I think we are living it. I believe when you kill someone or yourself you come back down to learn what you need to. I think everybody goes to heaven eventually.

From what I've read, it is people who subject themselves to eternal damnation. Meaning they have choices in life. God does not make these choices for us because we would not be able to experience and learn from them.

That's what I believe Tony. Like I said before, God loves us so much that he gives us the choice whether or not we want to follow him.

Yes God is loving! But he is also just. Which is why he cannot let sin go unpunished and why there is definitely a hell. As Lauren and Tony pointed out God has given us freedom of choice. If we accept Christ then his death on the cross serves as punishment for our sins and we will go to heaven when we die. If we reject Christ then his death on the cross does not serve as punishment for our sins and we are subject to eternal punishment in hell. I've chosen to accept Christ. How about you?

yeah, i do.

i'm not totally sure if i believe in hell though, and at the most i believe if you're completely sorry for for your sins, you'll go to heaven. i also dont believe all non-Christians go to hell.
