Cathie (TripperFan). Her cancer is in REMISSION!

That monster in her brain shrunk enough to be termed remission! The nerve of that cancer, thinking it could mess with our Cathie, lol. With all her chemo and radiation treatments, that gal has been through hell. During this, she went through a divorce of sorts from a man she was devoted to for 17 years, but he was devoted to himself, and traded her in for a new and younger model. Even though the other woman is a dog, but I digress. Through it all, Cat never lost her sense of humor or her compassion for others. This is one brave woman, with a heart of gold. I can't even imagine my life without you, Cat.

Thanks so much everyone! I swear I did it with the help, love and support of you guys. I may no longer have a family in "real life", but I still have my family here!

I still have a tumour, and probably always will, but for now, it has shrunk enough that it's not compressing stuff and they feel they've caught the cancer. I'll need to go in every three months to have it checked. If it's all clear for a year they consider it "cancer free".

I'm still having some seizures but they tend to be milder than they were. They figure they will stop as everything heals. I'm getting some headaches, but they're different than before and are probably more because I'm trying to quit smoking now. lol

Thanks again to everyone (too many to mention) for their love and support!! And a special thanks to Janice for hours of conversation and allowing me to sob in her ear - long distance yet!

And so nice to see you came over Billie!! I know I owe you and Leigh a reply - haven't forgotten - just got busy and sidetracked (last weekend was a long weekend here - like your Memorial Day coming up this weekend).
