If you have a seizure disorder, does anyone take a Lorazepam seizure pill to help you from having a second or third? I take a Lorazepam seizure tablet from having a second seizure. I take mine after I had a seizure.

I was on Lorazepam/Ativan for 5 years, but I took it for my anxiety, and panic disorder. Now I take kolonopin instead. I'm sorry to hear about your seizures, and I hope that the Lorazepam helps. My mom's b/f takes Tegratol for his seizures. If the Lorazepam doesn't seem to help much, you may want to look into taking that. It's done wonders for him. Like I said though, I hope what you're taking is working for you, and I wish you the very best health!!

I used to take Dilantin when my seizures start but then I had to give up Dilantin because I had tardive dyskensia which I ended up taking Neurontin, and Topamax for at least 6 yrs. Now, I'm taking Tegretol. I still use the Lorazepam to take after a seizure. Tegretol is working for me now.

Neurontin and Topamax never worked for me.
Lorazepam works for me after my seizure.

I took it but not for long. I hated the sleepy feeling I got off of it. They switched me to Seroquel afterwards and I find it much better. It's not as effective for preventing the seizures, but it doesn't have nearly the side effects of Lorazepam on me.
