You see that smiley on the top? Thta's how I feel. I feel worse than this smiley about this thread  I am just FLAMEMAD!

I hate these things about Youtube and wish that they could be erased!

In random order.

1. I am hot, sexy, and a horny teen want to have sex with you at badgirls.com! I've went to a video that was filled with a WHOLE bunch of these posts! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!(it wasn't even a "sexy" video. i think it was food processor commercial)

2. This is scary. in 1908, Anna Charles was killed. if you don't send this post to 20 other videos, in two hours, her spirit will come to your house and haunt you.

3. Posters who start arguing with each other, and call each other "bitches!" idiots!"... blah, blah, blah.... No one wants to read that on Youtube. Nobody wants to read arguing that has nothing to do with the video.

4. Kind of like 2, but, "If you don't send this post to 15 people in the next 15 minutes, your mom will die!" How is that cute or funny?

I seriously wish that the admins at Youtube could erase these posts.......

That the NFL has copyrights which don't allow some members to post old clips. How am I supposed to see some of the great clips from football past?

the comment system is horrible all around. the amount of abuse allowed on there is ridiculous and you can't edit/delete your own comments, even though the owner of the video can delete them. are they ever going to bother to fix that? the copyright thing sucks too, but it isn't youtube's fault. they're just trying to avoid getting sued by copyright bullies like viacom. all in all though, i don't even remember life without it, lol.

Some of the comments on there are outrageous. Its funny how when a couple of people have a disagreement about something it turned into people making nasty remarks on a video.

Also I dont like it when a great clip from the 50's and 60's turned up, and then it gets yanked due to copyrights issues.

Youtube is the only way fans of the past like me can see the old clips.

I love Youtube, but I wish the comments were moderated as well. I've seen some horrible stuff on there; swearing mostly. The F word is rampant on Youtube. Whenever I see stuff like that I rate it thumbs down and at least the comment is hidden.

Other than that I love being able to find virtually any song; even songs I haven't heard in a long long time. The stuff I've found on Youtube is like a treasure chest! Right now I'm listening to Eifel 65's "Move Your Body". Awesome dance song! I didn't know they had other songs besides "I'm Blue (da ba dee ba da)" so now I think I'm going to buy their CD.

I also hate when they remove stuff due to copyright stuff, but I love making a playlist of songs and then just letting it play while I do something else. Kind of like listening to your own personal radio station!

One thing I despise is the videos being watched right now feature. I'm only interested in certain things on youtube and I don't care what others are watching.

I believe you can edit/delete your comments on YouTube. When you post a comment there is a "Remove" button that you can use. So if you want to change anything you can erase your comment and post a new one.

Deleting everything, only leaving behind crap like closing logos, commercials and spastic YT "comedy" clips made by users.

I hate when they replace the music on a video or mute the music. Ugh!

Deletion of good vids.

If this keeps up...there will be nothing but crap!

- when a video gets removed for copyright infringement or the audio is taken off just because some record company doesn't like it when one of their artists songs is being used

- people making rude comments and swearing. i don't want to read that whatsoever.

- people posting stupid chain letters and stuff like 'if you don't copy and paste this link you will die' and advertising links for porn sites for example

- i once posted a comment on a video and i got a reply from a person a couple of days later and it said '**** you'. it was disgusting. thankfully, i blocked that user from accessing my account and plus he is barred from replying to my comments to other videos.

Some of comments can be awful. I have seen awful comments on other people's comments because there will spelling errors or stuff.

I've said this in a previous youtube thread, and I'll say it again here - the TV networks/studios/production companies are, I think, slitting their own throats financially when it comes to not beng allowed to show clips of old shows on youtube - what a great way for fans of the old shows to renew acquaintances with old favorites (and possibly buy the DVD of that show) or for people who have heard of the show and never saw it first run (either because they were not born yet or were too young to watch it, for instance)watch clips, fall in love with it, then...you guessed it...run out to the store and buy the show on DVD. See how that works? The copyright owner gets virtually free advertising of their program by them (or an actual fan) showing the old clip, then the person falls in love with it and buys product, the copyright owner makes money from the purchase, the fan gets his/her favorite show, and EVERYBODY WINS! Mill Creek Entertainment already does it on YouTube with their Howdy Doody DVD set (full 10 minute clips, I might add) and other shows they put out on DVD. What a revolutionary idea!

so true. i think that the problem with sites such as you tube is that once they become well known and popular, then this in itself will attract idiots, who end up abusing it. as for tv and record companies, the only people they care about are themselves. what is wrong with users sharing content? as long as he/she is not profitting from it in any shape or form, then i am all for it.
