I remember being a little girl and saying that I wanted to meet her someday, only to be told that she had died just a few weeks after I was born. She's a legend and will forever be loved. RIP Lucy.

Maybe she was on the welcoming committee for Bea Arthur.

Wow it's been 20 years already. I remember hearing on the radio how she was in the hospital but she was getting better and was going to be released. A couple days later she died. I remember CBS had a special on Lucy that night. She was one of a kind.
