I'm trying to find out what my old DEPUTY DOG lunchbox, circa 1964, is worth.
E-bay only has one listed, from a store, which lists it as over 500 dollars!!
Hard to believe mine's worth that much, but would love to know where to go to find out.

According to the seller of this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-OLD-VERY-RARE-1964-DEPUTY-DAWG-VINYL-LUNCH-BOX_W0QQitemZ400042588468QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item400042588468&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A13%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50) the value is $575 but he sold it for $149.

There is a website called www.Lunchboxes.com. It has a section called "Price & Information Guide" that will tell you the value of your lunchbox.

The website www.lunchboxes.com mentioned by the poster is only a seller of heaven forbid "new" lunchboxes and will not help you with the value of a classic box in which you describe. I have been collecting boxes for nearly 20 years and would need to see a picture, the lunchbox world is just like all other collecting worlds, condition, condition, condition. Is it metal or vinyl?..I believe deputy dawg was vinyl, does it have rips or tears on the side, are the clasp and handle intact....basically if you are interested, send me a picture to: teeveecloset@aol.com.....I will give you a fair estimated value.
