What Are You Thankful to SO For?

I know this thread is 7 months too early(or 5 motnhs too late), but, what do you thank SO for?:D I am back to my cheerful threads:D .... The other day, I was going through a morbid mood and was posting some dark threads(which were immediately closed, they were pretty morbid, talking about drowning and death:eek: :crazy: ).... *Puts away her black clothes in the closet and puts away her dark Morticia Adams gothic makeup and puts back on her cheerful colors and has a fresh-faced face......*:p I'm out of my short gothic phase........:D

I am thankful that SO allows me to post stories!:D

The great variety of forums and the great admins (esp. Janice). The nice posters who hang around. TJ keeps this a clean and safe site and that's very comforting. No flaming, no name calling (at least that I can discern lately), no trolling - it's nice to have a safe relaxing place to go & discuss your fav shows with other fans - w/o a lot of CYBER DRAMA. So...just call me an SO junkie,...and proud of it.

Im thankful to SO for allowing me to entertain/bore/whatever eveyrone through 100,000+ posts. Also all the freinds Ive made here in addition to offline friends, and for getting me into shows that I wouldnt have had I not registered. Also for the admins and mods who do a great job running the site, and keep the site going when its inactive, and though Ive never been a mod, Id love to be one, but all the shows I like either have too many mods, or the boards are dead.

Greg is Captain Ablairica, and Oscar is an SO user I became friends with on Facebook. He mostly posts on the General sitcoms board, and sports boards. His username is: Oz615.

In general, I am thankful for happiness. Late last year I wasn't feeling so good, but the last two months or so have been terrific. :)

I am grateful, first off, for all my buddies at SO, certainly too many to name, but ya'll know who you are. You make my days!:D I love this site, and am thankful that I found it... wasn't even looking actually.:lol:

Anyways, I am also blessed for so many other reasons!:

I have the love of God in my life, and a strong faith that gets me through the day... without these things, I would have no life.

My family: Oh, where to begin... they are just awesome. Don't get me wrong, I disagree with my parents all the time and I fight with my sister and brother... but I really do love them when it gets right down to the wire. They keep me sane, and make me the person I truly am.

My friends other than those at SO: Church friends, school friends, and all my other internet buddies, they make my life fun and exciting, and they help me to grow as a person. I learn a lot from my friends... and would be so deeply saddened if I didn't have their support. It is so wonderful to have such a big group of people who would crawl through hell for me. I love them.

My teachers: Oh my my! I can't even begin... I have been incredibly blessed to have some of the most incredible teachers on the planet.:eek: They have taught me endless amounts of knowledge and wisdom, only small pieces of which I can physically retain.:lol: They are inspiration for this budding music professor.:D They all have a special place in my heart that will never be forgotten, even long after classes have subsided.;)

Everything else I have.... basically, I am incredibly thankful for all those things we take for granted in everyday life... food, clothing, shelter, etc.
But also the little things... a smile, a hug, a prayer. Life wouldn't be worth living without these things.:)
