Ok so I have been racking my brain lately trying to come up with nice names for my second child. I know I still got time to come up with them, but I wanted to know what names everyone here likes for boys and girls.

First of all, congrats! :D

Well, being that I'm a girl I've thought of this before. For girls I kind of like Isabella, Audrey, Maya, and Taylor and for boys I like Jonathan, Tyler, Drew, and Will.

i'd want to name my daughter layla after the eric clapton song. for some reason i don't like the idea of NOT naming children after someone or something else. as much as i despise the bible, i'm glad i was named after someone from it because it would feel weird if my name just came out of nowhere. each to his own though.

Wow, Faith! That is wonderful news! Congratulations!:D

For girls I like: Katherine, Nadine, Ava, Angeline, Miranda, Mary, Desiree, Noreen, Kyla, Elise, Irene, and Waverly

For boys: Daniel, Blake, Christian, Matthew, Michael, Charles, Jacob, Joseph, and Ryan

I saw on a baby names website, a couple recently named their new child "Density." I don't know if it was a boy or a girl. Can you imagine? The child will be called "Dense" for the rest of his/her life!

Hey, that's a good one! :D

Congrats, Faith, that's wonderful news!

I'm pretty partial to old English names: Adelaide, Jane, Jocelyn, Grace, Miranda, Susannah, or Lavinia.

My sister's husband is French Canadian, and we came up with some French baby names for her (should she ever need them): Cecile, Aurora, Cosette, Giselle, Claudette, and Marguerite.

For boys, I like the Germanic names: Niels (my dad's name), Karl, Christian, Kurt, Frederick.

Girls: Grace

Boys: Brighton

After The Nanny? Actually I love both of those names. Fran Drescher said she and her husband chose those names in case they ever had kids together.

Zen

Zen? I've never heard that name before.

That's what is good about it. ;)

Zen - One way to think of zen is this: a total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind. Zen is a way of being. It also is a state of mind. Zen involves dropping illusion and seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts.

I'm not planning on children at all, but if I had a boy, I'd probably name him Robert (obviously).
