Actor-writer Nick Bakay, who co-penned with Kevin James the sleeper hit "Paul Blart: Mall Cop," is reuniting with the movie's producers, Sony and Adam Sandler's Happy Madison, this time on the TV side.

Bakay has inked a blind script deal with Sony Pictures Television to develop and write a half-hour project through Happy Madison.

Bakay has a long-standing relationship with Sony TV. Bakay was a writer-producer and had a recurring role on the studio's James-starring CBS comedy "The King of Queens."

He also is a writer-producer and plays a recurring character on Sony's Fox comedy series " 'Til Death."

On the feature side, Bakay is doing some writing for James' next starring vehicle, MGM's "Zookeeper," which also is co-produced by Happy Madison.

Bakay is repped by WMA.
