Okay, I'm not sure if this should be in the "Music" section, but it really isn't about a specific band or anything... just a general question for the members of SO (feel free to move it if you see fit, and sorry if it's not in the right place).
I play piano and guitar, and I sing a little as well.:D
... any other musical talents out there? ;)

I've been playing piano since I was 8. I've also played the flute and the guitar in the past.

i've been playing piano on and off since i was eight years old (though i used a toy piano before that) and my voice is classically trained. i also have a guitar and violin that i use sometimes. i was in advanced orchestra (violin) during elementary and middle school, though i've lost most of my skills, so i'm not too serious about it anymore. i'm also finishing up my fourth semester of music theory and aural skills right now and i'm an avid composer.

Most of my family on my father's side can play one or more instruments. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them.

I played a trumpet when I was in high school. I play acoustic guitar now.

I plunk away at the guitar, and played in a 'garage' band in high school, but I'm not a real musician in the traditional sense.
I'd like to learn the piano, or keybord, just for relaxation.

 I used to ask my uncle, "Hey, Uncle John, do you play anything?" He goes, "Yeah, I play the radio!"

I play flute, clarinet, sax, drums, including bass drum (in a pipeband).
Always wished I could play piano (other than chopsticks and the beginning of Bennie & The Jets)! ;)
Always wished a could sing too, rather than sounding like a cat in heat on the back fence.
And oddly, always wanted to play tuba!

I played the keyboard from 2nd grade to ninth grade. I'm hoping to start playing again this summer.

I've played the violin most of my life. Currently I'm the associate concertmaster of my community orchestra. :violin:

Tried playing clarinet in grade school. Hated it. I'd love to learn guitar though.
I took piano, guitar, dulcimer, and flute.
The only one I still play really well is the flute.
I also sing mezzo soprano, does that count?

I can play a little guitar & keyboard/piano. I also sing and write my own songs. You can check out my music in my siggy. My hubby played most of the music in my songs though. He is waaaaay better than me ;)

I used to play the flute in junior high and in my sophomore year of high school, but I was terrible at it. After that I was strictly a "voice instrument" kind of girl!

Oh, I LOVED playing clarinet!! I played it from when I was 10 years old to about 20(college & community bands). Played it all through middle school & high school and even made all-county band in my senior year!! I loved band, too, especially marching band. I was such a band geek!!
Mom bought a piano when I was 15. I already knew how to read treble clef, so I figured out what keys were what on the board, and taught myself bass clef. Mom still wanted me to take piano lessons though. To this day, I still play the piano.

I wish I played an instrument. I played violin for a couple of years, but that was about 10 years ago. I would love to play the piano or guitar though.
