Very low key this year. I can't believe I'm the same gal who used to entertain like Martha Stewart, lol. Lou and I got Chinese food. He watched the Red Sox lose. A couple of his kids came by after for dessert and for their kids to get their treats. It was a nice day.

What did you do, and was it a good day?

Good! Janice, did you see the pics on Facebook I took of my church's decorations, youth drama, and praise band? Afterwards, we had a nice dinner at my sister and brother-in-law's house.

I didn't do much. Just prayed a bit, messed around on the computer, watched the Cavs game, and now I'm watching the Cubs game. Nothing exciting, Just a regular day for me.

I'm glad you had a good day with your family Janice!! It's always nice to be with family during the Holidays.

Had a nice low key day. Went out for brunch with friends to a very nice restaurant. Then stayed and watched some more of The Paper Chase.

Well...I've had better Easter weekends.

Friday afternoon I had a major panic attack which I could not completely recover from until early Saturday morning. Needless to say, I did not get much sleep Friday night/Saturday morning.

Saturday I took my husband to work and brought him home, otherwise it was a quiet day.

Sunday we went to my brother-in-law's for Easter dinner. No big deal except I got to see my 2 year old niece whom I don't get to see that often.

I had a nice Easter. Went to church in the morning with my Dad. We had a drama at our church this morning called CSI Jerusalem. It seems the CSI Jerusalem team where called in to investigate the crucifixtion of Jesus of Nazareth. Apparently some evidence has come to light indicating he may have been innocent. It was very well done and in fact at one point I was moved to tears when I was reminded what tremendous suffering Jesus went through for us. Anyway in the afternoon I was able to spend time with my Mom, Dad, and Sister. We had perogies and farmer sausage for supper.(Yummy!).

Preparation stated the last 2 days and earlier today, then family came over...had snacks, then we had roast beef, rolls, meatballs, ham & other food and soda out for people to help themselves....all my aunts and cousins I talk to rarely came over, it was nice to see and talk to them, besides over a computer on facebook..

my aunt made and brought over these delicious cupcakes, they were mad good! haha. they were over until 2-4. Some people left early and some staye d until about 4. We talked about how my cousin is getting married in 2 1/2 months from now, but they're having the ceremony over in Italy for some reason, but it's exciting....

Played basketball, cleaned up and ate some more cupcakes later on whien everybody left....my Ddad had to work today though, sucks for him

P.S. Phillies won.

it was nice; my brother and I went to church in the morning with my parents and 2 sisters at their church (the church near to us isn't accesible for me) then back to their apt. where we had coffee and donuts, then we all went over to my sister and brother-in-laws house for a brunch with them, their 2 kids, and our brother and his wife; and my Dad watched part of some baseball game on their big screen, flat screen TV. (don't ask me who was playing-I'm not into sports, so all the teams are the same to me:lol:  )

Hey! Oh my gosh how much I missed you guys! It's so good to be back... I actually didn't realize til just a few minutes ago that I could post again... here I've been on the computer a lot of the day lol.

Today, my family and I went to Easter sunrise Mass. Then we came home and slept for a few hours lol. We just hung out and played it low key for the afternoon, and had two huge meals together. It was really great quality family time.:D

... and here I am! Gee, you guys! It's so great to be back, I really seriously missed you all and thought and prayed about you all often. :)

I had a good Easter yesterday. We celebrated our Easter on Saturday and yesterday we had some of the leftovers for dinner.

It was quiet, and good. I went to an early-morning Easter eucharist at church. The rest of the day was pretty quiet; since we moved we don't leave near a lot of people we know, so we didn't visit or have visitors. So, I took advantage of my Verizon weekend minutes to talk with friends and relatives on the east coast and elsewhere. It was great, because I haven't seen them in a long time, and at least it's good to hear their voice.

In between phone calls I read the Sunday paper, went for a walk, watched some of the Sunday news shows and the golf Masters exciting final round. Easter was quiet and relaxing.

My Easter was pretty good. I went to church for a special morning breakfast/fellowship before service. After the service, I went home and watched the Yankees game (they lost :( ). In the early evening, I went to my girlfriend's house for a ham dinner. All in all, a pretty subdued quiet good day. Had to go to bed early from all the eating.

Depressing. A university friend of mine, Justin, was in a car accident on Wednesday and he passed away. He was 47 (he would have been 48 in June.)

He's one of the first people I became friends with at university when I started in September 2006. He was a lovely guy, a true gentleman, he'd always help his friends if they needed him, give them advice, etc.

He was hard-working and intelligent and a truly good person and it is incredibly wrong that this has happened.

Well, I managed to catch a cold, with the typical soar throat and runny nose... That wasn't fun, of course, but the worst thing is, my sister didn't want to be around me, when I was sick, so she wasn't here for Easter.

I had a great Easter and great Easter weekend. I went to church on Good Friday afternoon for the Celebration of the Lord's Passion and Veneration of the Cross, and it was a beautiful and touching service. I was very moved by it. I also went to Sunday morning mass. Easter dinner was a quiet one with the family.
