Dance sensation Lady Gaga invited a fan backstage after she saw her getting crushed at a concert - and then broke down in tears when they met.
The US singer was performing at a gig in Ireland recently when she noticed an admirer at the front was having trouble dealing with the surging crowds.
She decided to treat the fan to an impromptu meet and greet after the show - but was too emotional to handle it.
Lady GaGa says, "I was having a really horrible day and I was very emotional. I saw a girl being crushed by the crowd and they pulled her out and I said, 'Go get her and bring her to the back room so I can see if she's alright.'
"(Someone) came in and said, 'Your fan is next door and she's crying because she can't believe you want to meet her.'
"So I left my room, went into the other room and sat with my fan and cried. We cried together. And I thanked her so much - she made me feel so much better."
