There was a show, I believe in the 80s, where a family had a maid, I think, who was alive in the 20s and somehow was alive now too. The theme song was cool. Does anyone else remember this? If so, could you help enlighten me??? THX

Sounds to me like Diff'rent Strokes--the maid sounds like Nedra Volz who played Adelaide Brubaker. VERY Old lady-- always with her white hair in a bun. Hope that fits the description. If not, I can't think of anyone else.

Definitely sounds like Diff'rent Strokes to me, Nedra Volz is still alive btw.. she will be 93 in June.

I think that show sounds like Down To Earth. A short lived show that ran on TBS in the mid 1980s, about a maid who was alive in the 20s and got struck down by a trolly, golly. Then came back in the 1980s to be a maid for a family of misfits. It starred Dick Seargent I believe (maybe the other Darren), and Rip Taylor was on every once in a while.
