We actually had a little snow here in NY. I got up around 8am and looked out the window and it was snowing.
I didn't stick to the ground and didn't last long, but we has snow today.

Looks like another beautiful day in sunny California. Supposed to be in the 80s again.

Wow snow on the first day of spring. Hardly ever see snow here. I was just outside working in my vegtable garden. They are loving this beautiful sunshine today.
It's sunny here too for the 1st day of spring but it's a little cool.

Yeah it was a bit cool here early this morning. Then at about 10 am we went for a long walk at the park it was so nice. I think this is my favorite time of year. The weather is perfect.

Cool! It's good to meet a fellow gardener. :D This is my first time planting a veggie garden but I'm really excited. I have corn, green beans, zucchini, cucumber, tomato, and onions.
I thought the 22nd was the first day. Anyway, it is kind of cool here in West
Virginia for the first day of Spring.

The first day of spring in the U.S. is considered to be around March 20 or 21, depending on what day the vernal equinox occurs. This is when the sun sits directly above the equator on its apparent trip northward.

Some first day of Spring this turned out to be. It was cloudy, showery, windy, and to top it off late this afternoon the power went out. It was off for about three and a half hours. I missed some prime S.O. time because of it.

I'm glad Spring is finally here now. Then that way we get to see flowers blooming and the worst of Spring is pollen season. I saw some of the dogwoods yesterday in the city.

Yeah your right about that. The pollen does get those allergies flaired up.
