Ever have days on S.O. where your mind just doesn't work right?

This happens to me alot. There are some days where I can come here and start five new threads, respond to other people's threads at will, and have witty and clever things to say. But then there are those days that I can't come up with a single thread, and everytime I try responding to a post, I have to go back and erase it all, because the words just aren't there, or they just don't come out right. Then there are days like today where I'm kind of in the middle, not too sharp, yet not to stupid either. lol! Does anyone else here ever go through anything like this? What's the longest you've ever been in a posting daze, or slump, however you want to put it?

Most definitely. Some days I'm a posting machine, while other days, I can't string two witty or intelligent sentences together. Today, I'm somewhere in between. :lol:

I don't seem to have much of a problem with my mind. My fingers on the other hand are a different story. Some days (lets face it, most days) it seems like I'm trying to type with someone elses fingers. I know exactly what I want to type but I can't hit the right keys to save my life. It leads to lots of backspacing and re-typing. Ugh!!!!!!!

I felt this way Brad just a month or so ago. From probably the beginning of Jan - mid/late Feb. All of the sudden I just lost my enthusiasm. I felt like everytime i wrote a reply it wasn't good enough or had nothing to offer and would keep erasing my posts. And I tooka break, though still lurked to keep up on my friends and occasionally would make an exception to post for a prayer thread. And one day just like nothing i got the urge to post again and was back to being just as witty (in my own mind anway :) ) and involved as i was before.

Yeah, there are days when I simply have no idea what to say - so I try to stick to the threads where you don't have to put much thought into your response, such as the "Last Thing You Ate" thread.

People in my life have been letting me down left and right, so sometimes when I come onto SO, I'm pretty short-tempered and don't hold anything back. Like this post (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showpost.php?p=4148474&postcount=560) I made on Friday the 13th, for instance. That was one of these days. And then I had it again the next day. I notice I have a lot of these days lately. But I try to be mature about it by, ya know, not going on a crazy rampage or something.
