How many of us have had that arch-nemesis (or nemeses) in our lives, that person, or persons, with whom you have a relationship similar to that between Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy.
I don't think I've ever really had an enemy because I've never disliked someone so much to classify them as one and I think vice versa as well.
There was a girl in secondary school who used to pick on me when we were in Year Seven. She used to upset me a lot and she was my main antagonist back then but at the end of that school year she was moved into another tutor group and I didn't see much of her after that.
At the moment I'm avoiding a forum that I used to enjoy posting on very much but haven't had much fun on in the last year or so. A few members there who I used to be friendly with have turned into bullies who enjoy picking on me and making fun of me and/or making sarcastic and disrespectful remarks to me. I complained to the administrator twice but to my knowledge he didn't do anything (the first time he didn't actually agree that I was being picked on, the second time he didn't respond to my message.) So I'm staying away because I'm sick of being treated like that.

Unfortunatly I did make some enimies in my lifetime. I dont have enemies anymore, and if somebody has issues with me, they can deal with it.

they have a tendency to suddenly start kissing my ass until the cows come home. most recently happened with my ex's "wife".

Sometimes I think that I have enemies, but it turns out that the person really had no harsh feelings towards me and it was all in my head.

A co-worker I no longer work directly with. He used to be very friendly with me, even taking me under his wing on occasion.
One night I was feeling lazy, everyone was busy, and he asked me for help. I laughed in his face. I was in the wrong, and admitted it the next day; tried to appologize. Unfortunately, he wouldn't hear any of it. He hasn't spoken to me since. It's been about a year and a half.
He avoids me and when he needs something from me, he asks someone else to relay the message to me. It's childish, embarressing and stupid... but he doesn't accept my appology and won't tell me what I can do to make up for it. I'm not even sure whether that one incident is the reason for the whole thing. If he won't communicate, what can I do about it?
So we are at an impass, and I think he is the one person I could consider an enemy.

I've had problems with internet bullies too. Those people think they're so cool, but they're really just behaving like toddlers in a sand box.

Yeah and the sad thing is, I used to really like posting on that forum and I used to be friendly with those people...but now, I don't know why I ever liked some of them.

The best thing you can do is leave for a while and hang out at other forums instead. That's what I did.

Yes, that's true. There have been several occasions on which I've taken extended breaks from the forum, the longest being about three months. I've currently been away for about five weeks now. I'm planning to stay away for a long time because I don't feel I belong there any more.
EDIT: I was just looking over the forum in question and one of the members (the moderator) was antagonising another member who didn't deserve it in the least. The fact that he's a moderator makes it slightly worse; instead of needling people and, in some cases, bullying them, it's his responsibility to make sure that kind of thing doesn't go on.

The only arch enemy I can ever recall having was a tenant of my ex-girlfriend. He said something so nasty to her, it makes what goes on on the politics board look like nothing. When I heard what he said, lets just put it this way, he's lucky to be alive today, and he never spoke a bad word about her again after our altercation!!

Wow, that's the story of my life too! I was a member of a forum, where the site's owner often joined my bullies instead of stopping their bs. (She apologized later though in an e-mail.) That forum became so weird. A group of nasty bitches ruled it, and they scared every sensible member away from there. And it goes without saying, that I eventually left too. I'm a member of more than enough forums anyway.

To be fair to the admin of the forum I'm talking about, he doesn't actually join in with the bullying (he doesn't post much anyway), he just hasn't done anything about it when I've complained. He doesn't seem to agree that the moderator in question has said anything wrong.
There are a lot of nice people on the forum as well. The moderator and a couple of his friends who like to bully people at times don't do it to everyone and not all the members see some of the nastier things they've said to me and a few other people, so the bullies are still liked and respected by most of the people on the forum.

Since this thread has been derailed into being about bad forums, the worse forum experiences I've had has been in RetroJunk and Friends of Mariah Message Board. Retrojunk is just full of nasties and hasn't been about nostalgia for some time now. As for FOMM, I wouldn't have such a problem with the board if they would get rid of MaryPoppinsMyAss. I think she's a rather thin skinned moderator and if you so much as make a joke on the main board, you get suspended. I have been lurking lately and have noticed that the members have started to calm down a bit, so maybe there have been changes since I last posted before the temporary suspension.
I'm also a well-known troll over at the TV board on a certain image board. I get harassed by a group of Perfect Strangers fans for some odd reason.

I don't think it's really been derailed - talking about the people on the forum I'm avoiding is somewhat related to the topic, as, depending on how one looks at it, they could be classed as my "enemies" although I wouldn't go so far as to call them that.
Why do you troll a board, by the way?
