I do know it was revealed on this board that MPI isn't carrying the lost episodes anymore. Maybe those lost episodes that they aren't carrying anymore are the volumes they previously released.
In late 2004, MPI announced that they were remastering all the lost episodes. It is now February 2009 and nothing. Shouldn't MPI have finished seasons 1 & 2 by now? I know season 1 just has all 7 Pert Kelton sketches are probably in the PD so it would cost very little or nothing for MPI to get them. Season 2 was just as long as a normal TV season for the Honeymooners. Is MPI going to remaster all the lost episodes THEN sell them? If that is the case, then it would take MPI well into 2015 or so to finish their job. If MPI is remastering the episodes, they should remaster a season or so then release them all the while working on the next season.
I wonder what would the DVDs be like if MPI actually went through with their promise and released and remastered all they have.
