A few days ago, I happened to be thinking about a book that I grew up with named "Noodle". It was written in the late thirties. In any case, it was about a dog who was unhappy with the card that life had handed him. I reseached this topic and found that it is back in print to introduce a new generation to the story! In this story, in a typical and highly predictable manner, the dog went all over the place seaching out other walks of life before realizing that his was not that bad after all! Well, there is one two-part episode of this sereis that I was very intrigued by, posted about several times but very few people seemed interested in discussing. This two-parter was called "Someone old, Someplace New, Something Borrowed, Someone's Due". I have compared this episode to such pieces of media as, "The Flintstones", the "Brady Bunch" and "The Wizard of Oz". Well, the book called "Noodle" is one more type of media that I would like to add to this list! If anyone reading this has read the book, I would be very interested in hearing from you! If you are not familiar with this story, you can probably find the book at you local library. I think you might be especially fond of it if you enjoyed the episode that I just mentioned!
