What Are Earl's Chances of Returning Next Season?

If Leno staying with NBC pushes "My Name Is Earl" off the schedule, I'll be ticked off!!!

NBC already announced The Office and 30 Rock's renewal for next season and I'm getting worried for Earl. Plus everyone listed Earl's ending in the Prediction thread.

So I want to know, what are the chances the show will come back for season five?

If it does end, I at least hope they get a finale.

I've always liked My Name Is Earl, so i hope it sticks around. It's probably not the most popular show on NBC's Thursday night lineup, but i enjoy it.

If they can keep that horrible Kath and Kim on the air, then they can keep Earl.

You can't tell with NBC. All their show's ratings are pretty bad so it's anyone's guess which ones are coming back unless they announce it.

Kath and Kim will definitely be gone. This show is still on the bubble. I think it'll depend on how many new comedies they have coming in. I'm sure they'll want to keep The Office and 30 Rock together - I wouldn't be surprised seeing Earl, if it does come back, going to a new night, or maybe staying back for midseason.

Ugh same here. I almost stopped watching then. I don't know what was wrose, the prison eps or the coma eps. It's gotten better this season so I hope it comes back next season. If it doesn't though, I don't think it would bother me that much.

They were jumping with the whole witness protection secret agent storyline and now that that is over maybe they can get back with the list.

If they do end (or when they end) I hope they know in advance and make a proper finale. That's all I really hope for. The show's not as good as it was, but it's still watchable to me.
