I passed the Maneuverability Test, but the Road Test forget it. This is my second time doing this and I failed to yield again.
Granted, it was icy so I was real careful but I'll never get my Drivers License.
Maybe there should be a MrCleveland Compassion Thread, because I prayed about this, but my prayers wern't answered.

Awww...:bighug: If there's anyone who knows how you feel, it's me. But I eventually got my license - and you will, too!!
My story is very similar to yours. I got my license on 1/13/2005, when I was 25!! It took me 4 tries to get it. I flunked manueverability the first 3 times. When I prayed, it all of a sudden came to me what to do - see if this helps you.
Next time, roll down the window all the way and stick your head out while you manuever around the cones instead of using the mirrors. Go VERY slow and try not to press on the gas. It really helped me. Once you get past that, the rest of the road test is gravy. Getting your license in January is like your trial by fire, or ice, as it were. Once you can drive in a Cleveland winter, you can drive in anything!!
PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP! You can do it and you've come too far to quit now. Keep us posted!!

Like I said, don't give up. Have you ever considered taking your test outside of Cuyahoga County? There are testing locations in Lake and Geauga counties that are more in the country with less traffic.(I took mine in Painesville.) Here is a list of locations:

I also heard that if you can't pass the Driving Test, despite passing one part four times, you have to do everything again.
If that happens, I will never drive again. :(

I'm going to try again tomorrow at the BMV in Golden Gate Plaza.
Pray that it goes well.

Of course I will!! Just take my advice and see how it goes. However, Golden Gate Plaza is right off the freeway and is a VERY high traffic area - so be careful!!
Good luck with your driving test!

You guys have to go around cones in the USA? weird
Id suggest you practice with someone who just recently passed their test and knows what you need to do to pass it....I did this for my brother, and he passed first try! (I wish id had the same advantage...it took my 2 times to pass)

This what I did; maybe this will help...
First, took the written exam; passed, was then given my permit; from there, I drove (with an aid of a lincensed driver) till I was comfortable to return to the DMV, take the road test. I passed for the first time, and I think the reason why because when I received my permit, I drove everyday, single day, until I was comfortable driving and knew the ropes.

Keep at it dude. One of my cousin's failed the road test like 5 or 6 times. Most people get killed with the parallel parking. Luckily I passed my road test on the first try.

Hey, congrats! I was just reading up on what you went through... I'm very proud! It sure is tough to pass, but I'm glad you finally did. I remember taking my driving test... you could make something like 12 minor errors and still pass. I remember the lady marked one error when I took a hand off the wheel to sweep my hair out of my face. I guess she would have rather I didn't see that road so well.;)
