"My Life" is a new drama series starring Claire Danes as Angela Chase, the classic character she created in 1994's "My So-Called Life" which became a classic series that defined life as a teenager in the 90's. In this gripping new series we watch as Angela now a fully grown adult copes with the life she leads and the challenges it faces. In this series, Angela, now 25 returns home to Bedford Falls, Illinois where she grew up when her mother Patti suffers a stroke and she must help her greiving father Graham put the pieces back together. While returning home she must also face several faces from her past. Including her younger sister Danielle, now eighteen, who is jaded and self-absorbed and has little love for Angela. These two sisters who haven't spoken since Angela left for college in 2000 have a lot of catching up and healing to do. Angela must also come face to face with the two men she left when she moved away from home suddenly after high school. First their is Brian Krakow, the brainy boy next door that idolized her in high school and with home she had a minor flirtation with during the summer before college. Brian believed that he and Angela were going to be dating and when she suddenly packed up and left without so much as a goodbye it hurt him deeply, now after almost eight year they come face to face for the first time. Also, Angela must confront the even sticker situation with Jordan Catalano, her high school boyfriend who was one of the many reasons that Angela fled town so quickly. During the course of the season we'll learn all of the reasons that led to Angela fleeing town in the middle of the night and changing her college plans. We'll learn why Anglea decided to move from Chicago all the way to Boston and why she decided against going to University of Chicago and instead went to Boston College. We will learn why Angela hasn't spoken to her sister Danielle since then and why she never said good bye to Brian, Rayann, Sharon or Jordan.

During the season we'll also catch up with some other familar faces. We'll learn what ever became of poor, mixed up Rayanne Graph, Angela's best friend in high school, who betrayed her in the worst way by sleeping with Jordan. Rayanne, now 24 has drifted from one dead end job to another and from one destructive relationship to another. Currently working as a part-time cashier as a 24 hour convienance store, Rayanne is in a bad place. Her current boyfriend Ronnie is a going nowhere drug addict who has been arressted twice and whose lazy attitude gets him nowhever. Add to that the fact that he really doesn't care about Rayanne and you have a disaster. Rayanne is also currently the mother of a eight year old child, Morgan whose presence in her life creates great problems for Rayanne.

Angela will face Jordan Catalano, who after graduating high school went to community college where he found help for his learning disabilities and was able to graduate after two years and move on to the University of Illinois where he majored in Business Management and got his Masters Degree. He now is the Executive Vice President at Chicago National Bank and is married to Sharon Catalano (formerly Cherski), who he fell for during college. Sharon was one of Angela's best friends in high school so this revelation may cause much damage to Angela and an even bigger rift in their friendship (or whatever is left of is).

Lastly, we Anglea will have to face the major demons facing her parents; including the guilt her father Graham faces after Angela learns he was on his way to a lawyer to file divorce papers when his wife Patti was having a stroke in their kitchen. Angela will have to mend fences with Patti, who was a big factor in Angela's decision to leave home and head to Boston. Angela will have to make a big sacrifice if she wants Danielle to forgive her and if she ever wants to have any kind of relationship with her family.

Just as Angela thinks that she's begun to fix things and make sense, everything will be turned upside down when her husband, Mark Keller comes into town with an ultimatium, "Come home or give me a divorce"---this will create a lot of questions that Angela has to answers for herself to to others. We'll learn during the course of the season exactly what is wrong with Angela and Mark's marriage and why he wants a divorce.

Angela will also be reunited with her former high school friend and confidante, Ricki Vasquez, who has a lot to say to Angela who abandoned him in the middle of a turbulant summer that he spent helping Rayanne through yet another drug and alcohol binge and about the last eight years that have been topsy turvy for him because of Angela's absence.

This series will employ a lot of flashbacks and voice overs to tell the story of Angela Chase as an adult.
