When you break it down, this thread is really one more attempt to stimulate some conversation about the recent release of the "Mamma Mia" movie on DVD! All over the board I have looked for people would could share in my enthusism about it! Surprisingly few people have responded to any of these threads. Maybe most people who frequent this site are not the right age (or degree of corniness) to appreciate the music of ABBA! Who knows? In any event, I am now going to compare this show with the "Fact of Life". Over on that board, I started a thread called "Various Associations". The last time I checked, this thread had twenty-six views and zero responses. All told, I found three possible ways to associate this series with the movie that I am happy to have. If you are interested in what these three associations are, you can read the post! Well, I have also found three ways to associate "Will and Grace" with this movie. In the first place, Will's flaky mom was played by Blythe Danner. In my opinion, she is one babe who looks hot as an older woman! Another chick that I would put in that catogory is Christine Baranski. She played Tanya in this film. As most of you know, this was a broadway show long before it was a movie. Shortly after Will's parents' divorce, his mom came to the city because she was lonely. Will and Jack took her to the show and she fell in love with it! Last but not least, ever since I was thirteen years old, I have had a weekness for babes in dress boots. Well one woman in boots who I feel is very hard to beat is this show's very own Debra Messing (Grace Addler)! In one of the numbers in the movie, Christine's character wore a pair of designer boots that I thought were to die for! This make association number three!
