I am starting this thread as another attempt to get some feedback regarding the DVD release of the "Mamma Mia!" movie! This was a very exciting expereince for me! I picked up my copy at Kmart yesterday afternoon. Starting about ten days before the due date, I have gone to a bunch of pages on this site (including this page) and posted message about how happy I was about the upcoming event. I have found various ways to tie this reality in with the various shows on this board. These tie-ins usually pertained to actress Christine Baranski who played Tanya in this movie. In the first place, at the moment, Christine is already well into her fifties. Because of this, I have compared her to actresses on these sitcoms who I think look hot as older women. In my opinion, Blythe Danner (Will's Mom) is a great example! On top of this, the thing that I liked most about her in this movie was the outfit that she had on during her rendition of "Dancing Queen". I thought that she looked like a real angle in those designer boots! Well, in my opinion, one woman whose appearance in boots is really hard to beat is this show's very own Debra Messing (Grace Addler)! Since the release of the DVD set, I have already posted one message on this board regarding the event. This was last night and it was on the "Gimme a Break!" page. The last time I checked (which was less than an hour ago), this thread had zero responses. This being the case, this is now my second attempt!
