HBO has scheduled a start-of-production date for the seventh season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," with star/creator/exec producer Larry David on board.

The comedy series will start shooting 10 new episodes in December to premiere next year.

The news follows HBO's announcement at the Television Critics Assn. press tour in July that it had already given the show a 10-episode pickup -- with executives at the time hoping for the show's return at the beginning of next year -- and that David had already told the network he would do another season.

"Curb's" sixth-season finale aired in November.

Great news! I knew Larry would come back for at least one more season, but I didn't know if it was going to be soon or 21 months like between seasons 5 and 6.

only 10 episodes? that's not a lot !Every Curb season is only 10 episodes. They've done 6 seasons and have 60 episodes under their belt. This isn't a new thing.
