It just so happens that the revival of Jack Ryan was announced back in March with Sam Raimi attached. Raimi has since gone on to work on Drag Me to Hell and will most likely start either Evil Dead 4 or the back-to-back Spider-Man 4 and 5 films, meaning the Jack Ryan revival is in need of a director.
