Remember the witch sitcom from the 80's?

I need help to find out what this sitcom was called. It was in the eighties and was about a witch or magical nanny who took care of this guys kids. she had long blonde crimped hair and i last saw her recently in a tv comercial for a cleaning product that cleans "twice as fast" with twins i think it was mr clean. anyway this was one of my favorite shows as a kid and it has been driving me nuts for about two years..HELP!!!

Well, Nanny and the Professor was a show from 1970 that otherwise matches your criteria. Perhaps you saw it in reruns?

The actress you are talking about is Corrine Bohrer, very lovely.. I've seen her in a lot of commercials and she has many movie and tv credits as well.
