Harrison Ford has confirmed that another Indiana Jones is likely. George Lucas is apparently coming up with the story for the fifth Jones movie, Ford tells The LA Times.
"It's crazy but great”, Ford says of Lucas’s idea for the new film. “George is in think mode right now."
Ford says another sequel is not only an appealing idea but a viable one.
"It's automatic, really, we did well with the last one and with that having done well and been a positive experience, it's not surprising that some people want to do it again”.
Bring it on!
Can't wait for the Crystal Skull DVD on the 14th!

wonder if it'll be in the forseeable future or if we'll wait another 14 years considering Indy 4 was confirmed back in 1994. Imagine an 80 year old Indy, lol

Yes, hopefully they will step up the schedule and have the new movie out by the summer of 2010 or 2011.
Shia Labouf will probably return as Indy's son. He held his own against Harrison Ford, so hopefully they'll team up again.

would be nice if they can get Sean out of his retirement to agree to do Indy IV. I think this would be a much more dignifying coda to his career than League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Yea but they killed his character off. They'd have to use him in a flashback.

As much as I like that movie, it could have been so much better. There was a lot of behind the scenes turmoil when they filmed LXG, which lead to Connery's decision to retire.

He didn't die in Indy 3. He was shot but Indy saved him and they rode off into the sunset together. If you're talking about League of Gentlemen then yes he was killed in that one.

I think MusicJunkie meant Indy 5 since Indy 4 has already been made and it was explained that he died in that movie so any future appearances would have to be as a flashback. Unless he meant that Sean Connery should have had his final role in Indy 4. Maybe I'm confused by what he meant. lol
